Return Policy

General 30 Return / Exchange Policy

Merchandise purchased from muji.ca can be returned or exchanged at any location within the same province within 30 days of delivery with a receipt.

Product must be in resalable condition with the original tag.

No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be issued without a receipt. Refunds will be issued in the original tender for the price paid.

 

Customer must notify our customer service at online@muji.ca within 7 days of arrival if package found with visible damages or missing merchandise for full refund.

 


MUJI reserves the right to deny any return/exchange based on the condition of the merchandise.

 

 

**For Ontario Customers**
[Update on January 14, 2021]

All of our Ontario locations will not be accepting in-store/in-person returns and exchanges during the lockdown, as we’re doing our part to minimize interaction as much as possible and keep everyone safe.
Merchandise purchased from muji.ca can be mailed to the MUJI Atrium store for a return or exchange during the lockdown.

Please include your invoice within your order and email us at online@muji.ca with the return/exchange information. Return/exchange information includes your order number/receipt number, as well as whether it's a return or exchange.

We extended the return and exchange policy to 60 days from delivery and will accept in-store returns and exchanges again once the State of Emergency in Ontario is lifted.

Refund Policy

All refunds are processed into original payment method. Refund process might take 5-7 business days upon package arrival to our return department and reflect on the bank statement.

Shipping and handling fee are not refundable.

Products such as but not limited to below list are considered as FINAL SALES and will not eligible for return/exchange.

  • Furniture (mattress, sofa... etc.)
  • Innerwear (bra, boxers... etc.)
  • Food & Beverage

Clearance products are considered as final sales and are not eligible for return/exchange.

Exchange Policy

An exchange is only eligible for certain merchandise. Merchandise can only be exchanged into different color/size with the same price in the same style. If an exchange is not eligible, a refund will be processed instead.

How to return or receive a refund for an order:

 

Return by Mail

Package must be sent to the return department for the refund.

Customer needs to send the return merchandise by insured, traceable mail offered.

Please include a note with your address and daytime phone number along with your instructions and a copy of this invoice, and send to either:

In-store Return

Online purchases can be returned/exchanged in your nearest stores as well. Please have an order slip when you visit stores.
