Stylish and sturdy. yes you can get tape replacement at Staples

"Looked far and wide for dispenser that is not... ugly. Other non-military-ugly ones cost a kidney. This is a good find. Scotch 3M "Transparent Tape 600" 19mm wide x 32.9 meters long (with the same 3" core) will fit this dispenser. The ones sold in the red tartan box. Usually comes in 2 rolls per box. You dn't have to buy the Muji tape only. It is glossy though. Not as nice as the matte Muji celephone tape, but a very serviceable replacement."

"The tape dispenser looked great online and seemed well-made when I received it. However, it takes tape on a larger spool than usual. Not helpful for me."

Does the job but is now useless :(

"It does what it's supposed to do. It's clean-looking and not distracting. The heavy weight of the dispenser makes it easy to dispense tape from it with just one hand. My only issue is that the store stopped restocking this tape for years now. I was lucky to buy a couple of the refills when I got this tape dispenser. It's impossible to find tape refills as the width of the tape is slim (12mm) and the holder for the tape is wide."
