MUJI Labo was born from careful craftsmanship that draws out the power of nature and materials, with meticulous attention to detail. It reexamines its origins and evolves. It is a design laboratory for the future of MUJI.


Feel the Difference

Uniform Material
The material is quick-drying, durable, and long-lasting. By using fabric that is used for everyday school and work uniforms, we have created practical everyday wear.

Loopwheel Knitting Machine
It is knitted slowly using traditional methods. By knitting slowly without applying unnecessary force to the yarn, it contains plenty of air, resulting in a soft finish.

Recycled Cotton-Blend Denim
Scraps and fabric generated during the manufacturing process of MUJI products are collected and re-spun into yarn to be woven.

Born from Culture & Nature, the 25AW Labo Autumn collection takes inspiration from cultural everyday elements, such as school uniforms and workwear, creating functional and durable daily wear. Traditional loop wheel knits create a soft, airy texture, and reclaimed cotton is made with scraps from the manufacturing process that are respun into a new yarn. The Winter collection reflects materials of nature, like yak wool and cashmere.

Starting from 24AW, the Labo collection revisits our origins and through continuous evolution, captures the essence of nature and materials, bringing out their inherent qualities through skilled craftsmanship and unwavering attention to detail.
