MUJI Community Market: May Events at Atrium & The Well

MUJI Atrium
Coven By Sonia King
May 16-17 | 12-6pm
COVEN by Sonia Kang bridges tradition and innovation, infusing handmade jewellery with the power of storytelling, cultural heritage, and personal expression. Drawing inspiration from a deep reverence for ancestral craftsmanship partnered with a modern aesthetic that is very East-meets-West. Our Jade pieces explores the duality of being part of the Asian diaspora and growing up in Canada translating those experiences into the creation of modern heirlooms that connect wearers to their own narratives.
Bowl Cut Paper Goods
May 23 - 24 | 12-6pm
Bowl Cut Paper Goods is a stationery brand by Sandra Kuan, an illustrator and graphic designer based in Toronto. Focusing on celebrating traditions and memories from an Asian childhood, her collection of lucky red envelopes, punny greeting cards and fun stickers are full of love, happiness and nostalgia. She continues to find joy in creating art that connects her with people who share the same stories of surviving bowl cuts and eating haw flakes (just to name a few)!
