The round lid doubles as a measuring cup for rice. The upper white part cannot be removed to prevent the rice from spilling out if the lid comes off. Holds around 2 kg.

    "Sleek rice storage container for my open shelf pantry. I have no complaints. However, the size of the cup is larger than the cups used for pressure rice cookers. So 3/4 of this cup is equivalent to a cup for a Japanese/Korean rice cooker."
