MUJI Atrium
Nagamochi Shop
June 6 - 7 | 12 - 6pm
Nagamochi- means "long-lasting", "long-wearing", "wears well" in Japanese. It's also a name of a large oblong wooden chest which was used in houses of Samurai families to store fabrics and daily items. We believe that adapting more Long-lasting goods and meticulously crafted items into our life will create a positive impact and help us to make the world a better place.
The Happy Yam
June 13 - 14 | 12 - 6pm
The Happy Yam creates whimsical designs of stationary and accessories. Inspired by Asian culture and food, their goal is to share a bit of happiness in our everyday live
Bowl Cut Paper Goods
June 20 - 21
| 12 - 6pm
Bowl Cut Paper Goods is a stationery brand by Sandra Kuan, an illustrator and graphic designer based in Toronto. Focusing on celebrating traditions and memories from an Asian childhood, her collection of lucky red envelopes, punny greeting cards and fun stickers are full of love, happiness and nostalgia. She continues to find joy in creating art that connects her with people who share the same stories of surviving bowl cuts and eating haw flakes (just to name a few)!
Foxy Market
June 27 - 28
| 12 - 6pm
Foxymart is a group of artists I recently connected with and their work is very charming! They consist of three very talented artists: Lu, Keson, and Elaine. They have a variety of work consisting of plushies, accessories, ceramics, and stationary. I think they would be a good fit for the community market because they have Asian inspired work and cuteness overload.
