    - Not dishwasher safe.

    - Do not use in the microwave or oven.

    - There may be an odor derived from the lacquer. If this is a concern, place the lacquer in a well-ventilated and shady area, or rinse it several times with hot water. If the smell persists, wash it with rice water or place it in a rice bin for several days.

    - Some people may be sensitive to Japanese lacquer and may have skin irritation in very rare cases.

    - Do not use an abrasive scouring pad, wire wool, or cleanser to wash. This may scratch the surface and damage the product.

    - Do not leave in hot or cold water, or foodstuffs.

    - After washing, wipe dry with a cloth.

    - The product may change in quality and lose its luster if it is exposed to strong acid such as vinegar or lemon.

    - Do not store this product in direct sunlight. This may result in discolouration, deformation, warpage, or damage.
