This cutting board is thin and lightweight, making it easy to handle and maintain. The wood is slightly springy, so it won't dull blades. It has a hole in the corner so you can hang it for convenient storage.

Japanese Cypress, or Hinoki wood is used in many applications in Japan including kitchen tools and building materials. It was used to build shrines and temples including Osaka Castle, which has stood strong for over 1300 years. It has a unique fragrance, it's highly moisture and humidity resistant and the phyoncide found in Hinoki has a strong antibacterial effect which inhibits mold or bacteria growth.

Natural Japanese Cypress Wood (Hinoki)

- Not dishwasher safe. Do not use in a dishwasher. Otherwise this may cause discolouration, deformation, warping or damage.

- Do not leave in water for a long period of time after use. Otherwise this may cause discolouration, deformation, warping or damage.

- Avoid high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight during storage/use. This may result in discolouration, deformation, warpage or damage.
